chickadee's heartbeat!

We have a heartbeat! Me AND chickadee both! What an amazing and beautiful sound - music to our ears.

Just when I was beginning to doubt this baby was real....I was beginning to talk myself into having some kind of chronic food aversion/nausea/vomiting/exhausted-all-the-time illness that would go down in the history books as the most mysterious thing ever. I imagined that people would say, "wow, that poor Lanell" "How did she manage?" "and all that time she thought she was pregnant...."

anyway...

It's really real! It's happening! There's a sweet little baby growing in there. Yea!

I'll see if I can make an audio file and upload it here. That might nearly overload my 3 remaining brain cells, but it's such an amazing sound, I think it'll be worth it.
