stroller for chickadee

The past few weeks have been a mix of insatiable hunger, following by periods of gagging, burping and light nausea. Mamalucy is fascinated by what makes me gag. It seems to be so random - never really the same thing. Today, I looked down at my new (old) jeans from Goodwill - story to follow - and saw a little crusty spot on the leg. Probably some food remnants from my last snack. But when I went to wipe it off, I started gagging. good times.

So, I've quickly outgrown my pants. Last weekend two mamas walked into a Goodwill store in Austin in search of cheap, but cute!, pants. Would you believe that Goodwill actually has some maternity stuff? We were surprised too. Many of these things I liked were already TOO SMALL! Maternity pants! There's a conspiracy with sizing. I finally made out with 5 new pairs of pants, including a pair of maternity overalls that should be nice and comfy when i'm big. The above mentioned jeans are not maternity, just a size larger of some Gap jeans I already have. It was an incredible find. They're so nice and roomy, but cute and hug my curves in just the right places and streeeeettttcccchhh in all the right places too.

I think the fatigue is now setting in as well - Hazel and I napped for 3 hours today. That was after my big outing to the second-hand store to buy this jog stroller that was too good to pass up. I think chickadee will LOVE it! Mamalucy is not so keen on the Aggie colors. But I think she'll come around....

and here's the ruffle scarf I'm working on - the pattern is called "Eve's Rib":

still working the baby kimono sweater. Ivy's mama is probably going to decide to not be my knitting mentor. this project is nearly sucking all the knitting life from the both of us! i never want to use this knobby yarn again...ever.
