this baby better be cute.

7wkchickadee

no more early pregnancy dreaminess here. i fluctuate between nausea, spinning, vomiting, gagging, and sleeping. taking a shower and getting the mail seem to be my daily highlights.

so, not much going on, except, I'M GROWING A BABY! BIG TIME! this week (month, actually) it's working on closing it's neural tube. i've been telling our baby to really close it up tight - no gaps necessary - "make a nice, long seem right along that neural tube so you can grow a strong brain and spinal cord."

might not be posting much for a while, until I feel better. digging in for the long haul. don't worry about me. i've got lots and lots of support, lots of remedies i'm working with and each one yields a wee bit of relief.

ah, the littles are so worth it, aren't they?

oh, and is everyone else being hit by mercury like us? the garage fridge blitzed out - i won't even go into all the details of evie's raw chicken that *could* have spoiled. all i know is that i fed evie for the last time in a while, the other day. It brought up some freakish pink puke. so, that's the end of handling raw chicken for me. even if it is dog food. lucy worked her electrical magic and got the fridge working. i don't go out to the garage anymore so i wouldn't know what the chicken casualties are out there.

and then tonight our furnace went out. a quick call and some begging and a repair man showed up, but didn't have the right part. he rigged it so we wouldn't have to cuddle with the smelly dogs tonight. i told him we only have two dogs anyway - get it? three-dog night. ;) he got it. he'll have to come back later to finish the job so it's more permanent.

might want to back up your computer while mercury is in retrograde. or pray to your electronics!

signing off for a while, unless i get a stroke of genius writing....
