"is that comfortable?"

another recent and very common question about me wearing Hugh in the Moby. This one came from the guy at the Whole Foods deli counter. Who woulda thought some tattooed and pierced dude would be interested in the Moby?

in my head, i replied to him, "no, it's a mama-baby torture device."

of course it's comfortable!

we have several floor stations around the house for floor time. this one is in my office, next to my computer. he's enjoying the angry flat bunny and cynthia's fun baby quilt that we're soaking in drool.




and mama lucy surprised me with this mug with Hugh's hand prints on it for V-day. When Hugh was born, we both promised each other we wouldn't give cheesy kid-related gifts to one another. I think she cheated on our promise a little by sneaking away with Hugh and getting paint on his hands for this mug. But I have to admit, my heart did melt a little when she presented it to me. She got a beautiful steak dinner made from scratch for V-day. Hugh enjoyed his steak milk later that night.

progress on Hugh's wool shorties...can you see the bum bum forming? haven't gotten to the legs just yet, but we're close! only a few more rows until i start forming the crotch and legs. i can't wait to get these on him!
