i love a good deal. i love recycling. i love little girls' dresses. i love sewing. what more could you ask for in this adorable lanell-made creation. lucy almost cried (with complete joy and amazement) when i presented it to her. i feverishly worked to finish it up while she watched the UT/Ohio State game last night on tv. apparently it was a terrible game and UT lost. I'm not sure what all that means since I don't understand football. But i love that it brings Lucy joy and I feel her pain when UT loses.

check out the trim i added - i picked it up at a crazy, crazy cheap sale at hobby lobby a few weeks back. i had a feeling i would use it on this project but i didn't know for sure. folks who craft know how this goes. if it's a good deal, you just have to get it because it'll be gone when you really figure out what you needed it for (or it definitely won't be on sale).
