who's writing this blog anyway?

it has happened. i have fallen behind. waaaaay behind. on cutting my nails, brushing by teeth, getting my haircut, exercising, sleeping, and writing this blog. is this how it happens?

so much to report - here's a quick list:


1) hugh starts signing words! bird and water and dog are favorites

2) Baby Bea is Born!

3) Hugh turns 1 - mamalanell is at a birth.

4) hugh walks! pitter patter, little steps i have loooooonged to hear in our home for so long!

5) Hugh falls! Gets a black eye. Today some big boys at the park said to me, "hey, can we see your baby's black eye?" sure! "so that's what a black eye looks like....ooooohhhhhawwwwww"

6) hugh talks! he asks for the names of things every day. cat, bird, dog, truck, car, fish, shoe, sock, diaper, baby, squirrel, monkey, belly, boob, penis are all favorites. and the list grows daily. amazing!

7) all four top teeth drop in, just in time for Thanksgiving! Good times!

i've made lots of stuff, but i don't have time to take photos and then upload them and our camera is crappy anyway. we're asking santa for a new one this christmas! and a job for mamalucy too!
