confessions from the other mother?

that's the title of a new book i read about. seems like an odd use of the word "confessions." it implies some sort of sinisterness. is it sinister to be the other mother? this book looks interesting and it was spotlighted by my favorite magazine: mothering magazine. so, just for that (being written about in my fav mag), i'm inclined to take a peek at it. but why did they use that 1950s clip art of the women's corsette? weird.



and both us chicks have started talking about what we want to be called. like mama and mommy or mom and mama or what? should we go with first names? it's a hard one to nail down at this point. maybe chickadee will come up with something on his/her own that will stick.

these are some of the things i ponder late at night....
